New Volunteer Orientation - Sign-Up Required

Want to come volunteer with us? We would love your help!

Many different volunteer activities are available, depending on your interests, skills, talents, and availability. You can volunteer at the shelter, off-site, and remotely. Anyone interested in volunteering on-site at the shelter must attend an orientation before getting started.

This orientation will include:

• Tasks available for volunteers

• Safety for people and animals

• A tour of the shelter and play yards

• Plenty of time for questions and answers

Please be sure to come prepared with:

• Closed-toed shoes

• Long pants

• Layers for outdoor time

Nice to have but not required:

• A durable slip lead (click here for example)

• Dog treats
