Indoor Destinations for Winter Dogventures

If you love dogs, love talking about dogs, and want to do something fun over the winter months - you’re PERFECT for a Detroit Dogventure - Take a Pup to the People outing to one of the many, indoor, dog-friendly destinations in the area.

We’re looking for people to take shelter dogs out to dog-friendly, indoor spots, show them off, talk them up, and just maybe find their future family. 

 Your choice of destinations include:

• Hardware and home improvement stores

• Pet stores

• RustBelt Market (Saturday, Sunday)

• Nordstroms and Nordstrom Rack

• HomeGoods

• T.J. Maxx

• Hobby Lobby

• The Mall at Partridge Creek

• And many more!

Detroit Dogventures are open to anyone 18 years and older with a valid ID. Children are allowed and encouraged as long as accompanied by an adult. These are offered 7 days a week, starting between 11 a.m. - 1 p.m and must conclude by 3 p.m.

You can make a difference on a fun outing or errands run with a shelter dog in tow. Let us match you up with an adorable dog on an outing with a purpose.
