If you love dogs, love talking about dogs, and want to do something fun this winter - you’re PERFECT for a Detroit Dogventure - Take a Pup to the People indoor outing.

Sign up to take a shelter dog to an indoor spot, show them off, and maybe help them find a home. These are offered 7 days a week, starting between 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. All Dogventures start and end at DACC located at 1431 E. Ferry in Detroit and conclude by 3 p.m.

Your choice of destinations include:

• Hardware and home improvement stores (Home Depot, Lowe’s, ACE)Pet Stores

• RustBelt Market (Saturday, Sunday)

• Nordstroms and Nordstrom Rack

• HomeGoods

• TJMaxx

• Hobby Lobby

• Partridge Creek

• And many more!

You can do a Dogventure by yourself or with friends, coworkers, or family, including kids! This is a fun way to make a difference for Detroit’s shelter dogs. Sign up below.

Detroit Dogventures give the dogs a much-needed break from the shelter and we get valuable information about them, and they get exposure that can lead to adoption!  All dogs are equipped with harness, collar, leash, goody bag, and a list of destination suggestions.   Let us match you up with an adorable dog on an outing with a purpose.
